Footage shows tourists feeding crocodiles and tigers with chicken meat tied to fishing poles in a Thai zoo.

Visitors performed the dangerous activity while standing on a viewing platform next to the animal enclosures in Sriracha Tiger Zoo in Chonburi province, Thailand.

The tigers would jump to catch the meat while the crocodiles remained stationary with their mouths opened.

One of the tourists said: 'This was fun, especially with the tigers. They're just like cats, but even bigger. The crocodiles though didn't react that much.'

The bizarre attraction at the controversial zoo was popular with holidaymakers from China but the business has since closed down due to the effects of the Covid-19 pandemic travel restrictions.

Bosses at the Sriracha Tiger Zoo said they would sell more than 5,000 animals under their care after visitor numbers plummeted.
