Police officer and motorist rescue stray kitten hiding in vehicle's wheel
A police officer and a motorist rescued a stray kitten that was hiding in a car's wheel in southern China.
Video filmed in the city of Chongqing on June 27 shows a police officer and a man trying to catch the kitten that was running under a Mercedes-Benz on a busy road.
According to the man's girlfriend named Xie, they saw a stray cat go under the Mercedes-Benz while waiting for the traffic lights to change.
After a police officer also spotted it, he stopped the Mercedes-Benz and Xie's boyfriend also got out of their car to help.
The cat reportedly hid in the car's wheel and Xie's boyfriend attempted to drag it out but was scratched by the kitten.
The police officer then meowed to try to lure the cat out.
Finally, the cat was rescued and a nearby merchant adopted it.
