This is the tear-jerking moment a Ukrainian girl injured in Russian shelling sang the Ukrainian national anthem while being treated.

The youngster was filmed singing her heart out while doctors applied a cast on her leg, which was reportedly wounded during the bombing of Mykolaiv City on June 29.

She is heard singing ‘shche ne vmerla Ukrayina' which means 'Ukraine has not perished'.

Politician Anton Gerashchenko, who is the advisor to the Minister of Internal Affairs of Ukraine, said: 'Unbreakabl. A little girl sings the Ukrainian anthem while getting her bandages.'

Russian forces bombarded Mykolaiv with 10 missiles on Wednesday, all of them targeting civilian areas, Ukraine President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said.

He said: 'One of these missiles, a hypersonic anti-ship missile ‘Onyx', destroyed an ordinary five-story building. Dismantling of the debris continued over the day. As of now, five people are known to have been killed.'
