Moch-aahhh! Daredevils sip coffee on table suspended 850ft over waterfall in Laos
This morning coffee will make your head spin - sipping hot drinks on a table suspended 850ft over a waterfall.
The incredible cafe hangs on a single zip line cable over the breathtaking Tad Fane twin waterfalls in the town of Paksong in Champasak province, Laos.
Visitors who look down might get a touch of vertigo when they see the fresh mountain water cascading over rocks while the morning sun forms rainbows in the spray.
Tourist Mook Morrakot, the woman in the video on June 26, said she was 'mesmerised' by the beautiful scenery while she was having her morning coffee at the unique attraction.
She said: ‘I never once imagined myself drinking hot coffee on a floating table overlooking the waterfall. It was a truly beautiful experience.'
Locals had the idea for the ‘flying coffee table' when a plantation with local varieties of beans was planted near the waterfall. Visitors can choose drinks before being strapped into a harness and sent floating over the waterfall.
Communist Laos has no coastline but it has a spectacular range of waterfalls and untouched hiking trails. However, many of the rivers are being targeted for hydroelectric power by neighbouring China, Japan and South Korea.
