Footage shows super-strong pit bull terriers leaping up a climbing wall at a dog show in Thailand today.

The muscle-bound mutts were pulling at their leashes before sprinting towards the structure and jumping several feet in the air to try and latch onto a rope with their mouths.

Owners took their animals to try the attraction run by the Thai company 'Pit Bull Zone' at the Thailand International Dog Show.

Elsewhere at the exhibition, well-turned-out canines were treated to snacks from upmarket pet food stalls as well as the latest grooming gear to keep them looking pristine in the tropical climate. Several vets also attended to show off the latest technology to help owners keep their furry family members in good health.

There were also a number of obedience competitions as well as a climbing wall for Pit Bulls to run up while trying to cling onto a rope with their mouths.

Organisers claim the event at the Impact Arena in Nonthaburi on the outskirts of Bangkok is the biggest in South East Asia. It is in its 20th year having been running annually since 2002.
