Notice the gloves being used in the video; they are leather gloves used specifically because of the teeth on this fish. This type of fish breathes actual air so they can be out of the water a considerable amount of time over a normal gill-breathing fish. Some people eat this type of fish but it has a very powerful outer protection that makes it a chore to harvest. I do not recommend targeting this type of fish as a beginning angler because of the variables. But if you do plan to one day handle this type of fish...remember the gloves.
