Removing 51 staples 14 days post Whipple surgery red-neck style on the living room floor. The patient proudly removed the very last staple!
My husband had Whipple Surgery on June 16, 2022. It was a very extensive surgery where several organs or pieces of organs are removed and connections rerouted. This resulted in an incision requiring 51 staples. Upon discharge, we were sent home with the staple remover. Here we are removing them 14 days post-surgery
