Woman gives birth to child with four pairs of arms, legs in northern India
A woman gave birth to a child with four pairs of limbs in northern India's Uttar Pradesh.
The baby was born at the Shahabad Community Health Centre (CHC) in the Hardoi district, reportedly on the intervening night between July 2-3.
Visuals showed the newborn baby lying down. It had four arms and an equal number of legs. The baby was born to Kareena and Sanjay, a couple from the Manglipur village in Shahbad. The baby weighed 2.96 kilograms (6.53 lbs).
Kareena experienced labour pain on Saturday and was subsequently admitted to the Shahabad CHC, where she delivered this child. It has been learnt that both mother and child are healthy and fine.
According to a report, the family members were upset after they saw the child. But soon the news spread like wildfire and people gathered to see the child.
Some even called her to be the reincarnation of some goddess while others called it a miracle of nature.
