Debris swirled in the air as a tornado ripped through a factory as Typhoon Chaba hit southern China.

Video filmed in the city of Chaozhou in Guangdong Province on July 2 shows a more than 10-metre-high twister tearing sheets of metal from a factory.

Another clip shows the gate of the factory fell down and the roofs were ripped off.

The tornado lasted for more than 10 minutes. No casualties were reported.

受台风“暹芭”影响，7月2日上午7点许，广东潮州市潮安区浮洋镇突发龙卷风。从当地居民提供的现场视频可见，当时天气阴沉，狂风大作，一高约十几米的龙卷风在快速移动中，不少物品被掀起在空中盘旋，场面惊人！龙卷风将一处铁棚厂房给掀起，铁皮房瞬间被撕裂甩上高空，漫天飞屑，极其危险！
龙卷风过后，可见有厂房铁门及建筑损毁严重，厂房顶棚被掀翻，各种材料散落一地，内部办公场所也一片狼藉。
据潮州气象部门消息，出现龙卷风的范围，包括潮州市潮安区浮洋镇斗文村、徐陇村、陇美村。受影响的区域在一条乡村公路旁，长度一公里，龙卷最大直径50米左右，整个过程持续了有十几分钟。 此次龙卷风侵袭暂未造成人员伤亡，相关损失正在统计中。（视频由广东台提供）
