Police officer saves 4-year-old girl washed away by huge waves in China
A police officer saved a 4-year-old girl who was washed away by huge waves in southern China.
Video filmed in the city of Zhangzhou in Fujian Province on July 3 shows a huge wave washing a 4-year-old girl away when she was playing on a beach.
A police officer named Li Songwu who was on leave took off his clothes and ran into the sea to rescue the girl.
With the help of other residents, Li finally brought the girl back onto the shore.
The girl was reportedly not in life-threatening condition.
The video was provided by local media with permission.
