A man used more than £6,000 worth of coins to pay for a car in central China.

Video filmed in the city of Zhoukou in Henan Province on June 21 shows several workers weighing and counting coins on the floor in a garage.

An employee named Shi told Henan Television, the customer ran a breakfast shop. It may because they normally received coins as payment, they carried eight bags of coins to the garage to pay for the car.

It took the workers around a day to count the coins.

The video was provided by local media with permission.
