A snake was rescued from inside a house in southern India's Andhra Pradesh.

The incident took place in Aganampudi, Visakhapatnam city of the eponymous district on July 8.

Visuals showed a man holding a long stick with a specially designed end to grab snakes. He was seen entering a room and poking the stick at one corner of the room to get hold of the reptile.

He was successful in doing so in just a few attempts. The snake seemed restless and was constantly moving. He held the reptile for some time while standing in the middle of the road. The locals were seen witnessing the site for a while.

Later, he was seen untying a jute bag and releasing the snake into the jungle.

According to the reports, a cobra about five feet long was rescued by Kiran Kumar, an expert in snake-catching.
