Schoolchildren in India paid tribute to the former Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe on Saturday (July 10).

Children at the school in the northern state of Uttar Pradesh shows held a picture of Abe and observed a moment of silence for Abe, who was shot at a political campaign event and died in hospital on July 8.

In the video, Councillor Rajesh Kushwaha says in Hindi: "Former Prime Minister of Japan Shinzo Abe passed away.
