'Traumatising': Couple with 37-year age gap strip off in swimwear to defy cruel trolls on TikTok
A couple who are 37 years apart in age have taken to social media to defy cruel trolls and show the world that all bodies are bikini bodies.
Cheryl, 61, and Quran McCain, 24, regularly hit the headlines sharing details from their unusual relationship set-up, with over 2.3 million followers on their TikTok page (@Kingqurannewpage).
The husband and wife have been married since September 2021 and are expecting their first child next year, having splashed out up to £120,000 on their surrogate.
Despite their happy union, the pair frequently have to deal with cruel trolls who mock their age difference, but Cheryl and Quran pay them no mind.
In a recent video, which has gone viral with over eight million views, they show off their bodies in 4th July-themed swimwear.
Cheryl's custom-made bikini has the classic US flag stars and stripes, but has an added feature: Quran's face across the top and bottom.
Meanwhile her hubby is wearing a flag-themed pair of swim shorts.
The clip is just eight seconds long, with the pair dancing along to a tune and doing little else, but it's enough time for the trolls to come out of the woodwork.
"I’m gonna cry," wrote one user.
"Traumatizing," added someone else.
"Y’all gone to far this time," wrote a third person. [sic]
"Absolutely not," added a fourth user.
"I'm quite literally terrified," commented someone else.
One person even went so far as to suggest Quran is a gold digger.
"If she isn't rich idk why he's with her," they wrote. [sic]
However, some people also shared more positive views, including complimenting the special designs.
"Nice bathing suit," wrote one user.
"Love the clothing," added someone else.
"QUEEN SLAYED THAT BATHING SUIT PURR," wrote a third user. [sic]
