‘It's just sugar on bread’: Brit tries American girlfriend’s breakfast – and he’s not impressed
A woman has gone viral on TikTok sharing the disastrous results after she tried to make her British boyfriend try a sugar-filled American breakfast.
Alex Murphy, 34, from London, filmed herself making her boyfriend Paul Klein a PopTart – a very sweet pastry that can be heated up in toaster.
In a clip shared with her 730,000 followers, Alex prepares a brown sugar cinnamon tart along with a glass of milk, and hands it to Paul – who is far from impressed.
She announces: “I’ve made you breakfast.”
He says: “Oh god. What are these things? Are these American? That doesn’t smell good to me.
“This isn’t a breakfast. Where’s the eggs, where’s the bacon, where’s the sausages, where’s the hash browns?
“Why do you guys have all these sweet things for breakfast?”
He takes a tentative nibble and shakes his head.
He says: “That’s not good. No. Take it back. That’s not a breakfast.”
