Crab spider sheds skin on tiny flower bud in Myanmar
Mesmerising footage shows a crab spider shedding its skin while perched on a tiny flower bud in Myanmar.
The neon green arachnid was sitting on a hairy flower while inching out of its old skin in Kalaw town on July 5.
After ten minutes, the creature successfully wriggled out and rested on the flower.
Resident Moe Tain said: ‘I thought the spider was part of the plant but when I saw it move I realised it was a spider.'
Crab spiders eat pests like flies and mosquitos so they are generally beneficial. They are venomous but their mouths a re too small to pierce through human skin.
