Just after 5pm stations 21 & 22 were alert to a brush fire behind station 22 in the township. Units were quickly able to confirm a fire due to a column of brown and white smoke rising from the area. Command arrived and added station 25 for another brush unit and additional manpower. First in crews found a fire burning and slowly trying to spread north and east and focused containment on that area first. Trash lines were deployed from 25 & 22 to help with mop up and ensure extinguishment.
