Alert cop rescues woman who slipped while boarding train in northern India

An alert cop saved the life of a woman who slipped while boarding a train in northern India's Uttar Pradesh.

The incident took place at Varanasi Railway Station of the eponymous district on July 10.

Visuals showed the woman trying to board a moving train when she suddenly slipped and got dragged by the vehicle for a while. The alert cop rushed towards the woman and pulled her away from the train that had almost stopped by then.

Speaking to Newslions, Public Relations Officer Ashok Kumar said that Railway Protection Force Head Constable Rajesh Kumar Singh showed his vigilance and saved the woman who slipped while trying to board the moving train.

She was travelling from Durondha to Anand Vihar via. Lichchhavi Express.
