A driver in New South Wales, Australia had a near-miss with a wild deer today (July 13) that wandered onto the highway.

Paul Wortley was making his way in his Tesla through Wollongong when the deer crossed the road in front of him.

"This video was filmed by multiple cameras on board the Tesla and can be seen by the rear-facing camera jumping over a barrier to safety," Wortley said.

A narrow miss on the highway going through Wollongong, south of Sydney NSW Australia this morning. A large feral deer on the road was lucky to escape after being missed by multiple vehicles.
