Delivery truck rear-ends parked car 'after driver falls asleep' in Thailand
A delivery truck rear-ended a parked car after the driver allegedly fell asleep at the wheel.
The truck was delivering ice when it slammed into the stationary vehicle parked in front of a house in Nakhon Si Thammarat province, Thailand on July 6.
The impact sent the sedan crashing through the property's gates before sliding back onto the roadside.
The car owner said: 'I've been parking the car in front of my house at night for a long time, and I have permission to do so because there isn't any other parking space here.'
The truck's driver claimed to have fallen asleep during the trip, resulting in the collision.
Both parties are now discussing how to settle the damages.
