Bus carrying pilgrims rams into tipper dumper in northern India
A bus carrying pilgrims rammed straight into a tipper dumper in northern India's Jammu and Kashmir.
The incident happened in the Badragund area of Qazigund in the Kulgam district on July 14.
Visuals showed the bus crashing straight into the truck which had stopped moments ago on the Jammu -Srinagar national highway to take a turn to a road on the other side. Just when it was turning, the bus full of pilgrims rammed straight into it, resulting in a massive collision.
After being rammed into, the timper dumper was seen crossing over to the other side of the road and getting away from the spot.
According to a report, 20 pilgrims in the bus suffered from injuries. Out of these 20, 18 had minor injuries while two, who were seriously injured, have been shifted to the Government Medical College in Anantnag for treatment.
The police have also reportedly taken cognizance of the matter.
