A couple with Down syndrome surprised their guests with a choregraphed first dance. Ffion Martin, 23, and Chris Miller, 39, met three years ago through their performing arts classes. Ffion revealed she had fallen in love with Chris, and he admitted he felt the same way, but had to spend time apart when the pandemic hit in March 2020. Chris got down on one knee in Ffion’s garden in July 2020. They finally tied the knot last month - busting out their moves to Rewrite the stars from the film The Greatest Showman. The pair, who were both adopted, are now living with Ffion’s mum, Janice Martin, 65, but they plan to buy a house together. Ffion, from Carmarthen, Wales, said: “Chris makes me laugh and makes me the person I am. “Chris is a real gentleman and he’s amazing." Chris added: “Ffion has changed my life forever.” Janice, a retired advocacy coordinator, said: “It was such a special day. “Their first dance was beautiful, and they chose Rewrite the stars as they wanted to ‘rewrite history’ and prove Down syndrome doesn’t hold you back.
