The blaze was caused by a Russian missile attack that hit the site early in the morning today (July 16). According to Unian, a Ukrainian news agency, Russian forces fired missiles using a Tu-95 bomber from Stavropol, a city in southwestern Russia.

The fire spread to an area of 1,000 square metres. According to local sources, the damage affected an area of ​​​​about 10,000 square meters.

A 30-year-old man was wounded after being hit by debris. The number of injured people remains unclear.

"As a result of the rocket attack on the Malinovsky district of the city, several warehouses with an area of ​​​​about 10 thousand square meters were damaged. A number of other structures adjacent to the explosion site were also damaged, in which windows were broken and the ceiling was damaged," the press service noted.
Now employees of the Main Directorate of the State Emergency Service in the Odessa region are eliminating the consequences of the fire.
