Passengers on a boat in Russia got a shock recently when a local boy leapt from a bridge and almost landed on them.

Footage captured on July 11 in Saint Petersburg showed the vessel passing under a bridge when the youngster suddenly plunged into the water right next to the boat.

No-one was injured in the incident.

The children had fun jumping from the ferry, but one of the "extremes" almost fell under the boat. A man with a child was passing under a bridge at low speed when a boy almost fell on them. Petersburgers in the boat were frightened, but as a result of the incident, the jumping child was not injured.

Local residents note that teenagers regularly have fun jumping from this crossing, despite the fact that motor boats and other floating facilities go here at different speeds.
