This strange-looking bumpy-skinned sea slug was found crawling on the shore in Myanmar.

The bizarre creature was filmed lying on its side before slowly twisting back upright in a beach in Ayewaywaddy township on July 5.

The animal is believed to be an Onchidiidae slug, a group of air-breathing slugs. Instead of a hard shell, they have a tough, leathery outer coating to prevent water loss.

They are mostly found in rocky areas along the coast, or mangrove forests in brackish water.
