A cargo vessel overturned while loading delivery trucks at a port in the Philippines.

The ship LCT Balesin had just boarded three dump trucks and one van when it fell off balance while docked at Ungos port in Quezon province on June 10.

Soon after, the vessel tilted on its right side before the vehicles slid down the water.

Footage shows the overturned ship as overboarded trucks floated around it.

A spokesman from the Philippine Coast Guard said: ‘It led to overboard four vehicles including one wing van loaded of frozen goods, one dump truck of sand, one dump truck of gavel, and one wing van loaded of steel bar.

The agency added that the 25 people on board - 11 workers, nine crew, and 5 drivers - were unhurt from the incident.

The trucks, however, had to be plucked off the water using a crane after plunging into the sea.

All of the vehicles and most of their content were retrieved on June 15 morning.
