Brave motrocycle rider catches cobra on road using bare hands
A brave motorcycle rider caught a cobra on a road using bare hands.
Nattawat Silametasit pulled over his bike upon spotting the serpent on a junction in Chonburi province, Thailand on July 1.
The lad went near the cobra where it lunged at him but failed before he grabbed the snake by its neck.
Footage shows the rider taming the wild creature within seconds and catching it with his bare hands.
The rider said: 'The snake was friendly but it was their instinct to protect themselves in such situation. It was not the first time I caught a snake.'
Student Nattawat added that he always loved reptiles and has been a snake enthusiast so he helps neighbours and friends with their snake dilemma sometimes.
He said: ‘I love reptiles. I am a snake enthusiast. I enjoy learning about them and I believe I've acquired enough knowledge to handle them. Sometimes my friends and neighbours ask me for help with their snake dilemmas.'
No one was hurt in the incident and the snake was turned over to local wildlife officers for proper handling.
