This hungry pet dog channeled its inner master thief when it sneakily plucked a piece of fried chicken from its owner's dining table in the Philippines.

The crafty Shih Tzu-Dachshund mix named Parker, 2, was caught on camera making sure the coast was clear before jumping onto a chair to steal a chicken drumstick from the table in Pasig City, Manila, on July 8.

His accomplice, an older dog named Fatfat, was also at the scene to serve as a lookout. The two were later seen trotting off to share the meal together.

Fur mum Rachel Gonzales said she was baffled by the missing food until she checked her home security cameras.

She said: 'Parker always climbs up whenever there's food. He's pretty long since he's part Dachshund, so he's our only pet that can reach the table easily.

'He likes pestering Fatfat, who's fairly older and just ignores him. But because of the food, they became close buddies.'
