Huge 290-metre bridge demolishes after failing safety checks in China
A large bridge in southern China was demolished after it failed safety checks.
Video filmed in the city of Guilin in Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region on July 19 shows a 294-metre-long being demolished, sending smoke into the air.
The bridge was built in the 1980s and since it failed to meet the safety requirements it had to be demolished.
The video was provided by local media with permission.
