An ingenious shopkeeper uses a huge pulley from a hillside over a river to serve customers in Indonesia.

The stall owner set up the convenient delivery system to cater to clients passing the bridge overlooking the stream in Jakarta, Indonesia.

Footage shows one buyer yelling out his order to the vendor below and placing some cash inside the pulley's bucket on June 18.

The shopkeeper then pulls the container towards her and prepares the gorengan or Indonesian deep-fried fritters, which she stuffs inside a plastic bag. The meal is later hoisted back to the man in the same bucket.

The customer, a volunteer assigned to the area, said: 'Distance and access are not obstacles to those making a living.
