Huge ball of fire erupts after truck topples over on highway in eastern China
A huge ball of fire burst out after a truck tipped over on a highway in eastern China.
Video filmed in the city of Zibo in Shandong Province on July 19 shows a tyre on a truck transporting plastic pellets and bleach suddenly exploding, causing the vehicle to flip over on Qingdao–Yinchuan Expressway and break into a huge fire.
A police officer spotted the incident when patrolling the site and contacted firefighters and highway departments straight away.
According to Shandong Traffic Police, two trucks were destroyed but no one was injured.
The fire has been put out and the traffic on the road is back to normal.
Firefighters are investigating the cause of the fire.
