A monkey was spotted riding on the back of a motorcycle along a road in Pariaman Regency, West Sumatra, on July 24.

He didn't seem afraid even though many vehicles were driving on the main road from Padang City to Bukittinggi.

In West Sumatra Province itself, Beruk is used by some residents to climb coconut trees and lower the fruit. Beruk is an animal that can be trained and helps residents to earn money, by picking coconuts.
