Brave locals collect coconuts being thrown at wall by thousands of devotees in India
A group of brave locals put themselves in harm's way to collect coconuts that were being thrown at a wall by thousands of devotees in Sivaganga, Tamil Nadu.
Footage from June 13 shows hundreds of coconuts smashing as they're tossed at a brick wall.
A group of residents wearing helmets are seen at the base of the wall collecting the coconuts.
The coconuts were being broken as a sign of giving thanks where devotees believe their prayers have been heard.
