If you're scared of snakes, this is not one for you: Hundreds of snakes are living in trees in a snake refuge in Vietnam, chilling and slowly moving around and about the branches.

The footage was filmed at a snake hospital in Tien Giang, Vietnam. The snakes are known as the oriental rat snake and it's actually quite common for them to be hanging out in trees rather than on the ground.

They're not venomous but it's still probably not something you want to encounter on a tree if you're out for a stroll.

The snakes belong to the snake family Ptyas mucosus, they live hidden in trees.
The snakes are now raised at the snake hospital in southern Vietnam. The hospital is considered a place to treat snakebite patients and a place to preserve hundreds of snakes in Vietnam.
