This is the incredible moment a congregation carried an entire church to a new location in their village in Indonesia.

Followers of the Gospel Tent Church were filmed working together to haul the house of worship from its original position in the Deiyai Regency of Papua province on July 20.

To stabilise the sizeable structure, estimated to be around 100ft long (30 metres) and 32ft wide (10 metres), they attached wooden poles to its foundation before lifting the whole building off the ground.

Onlooker Methu Badii, 32, said: 'The width of the church is about 10 meters, I think. You can see that a lot of people are needed to transport the whole building.

'The church is indeed quite large. The building is spacious. Everyone helped with the task.'

Methu added that the church was moved around 82ft (25 metres) back to make way for 'another part of the church' to be added in its place.
