Human remains have been found after four Vietnamese nationals were reported missing following a huge May fire at Bismark House Mill in Bower Street, Oldham on Tuesday (July 26).

Police said they received a report of the missing people last week but they did not believe there were people inside.

A search for possibly further bodies at an Oldham mill which was the scene of a huge fire over two months ago continued today.

Fire and rescue search teams along with police scene of crime officers and other specialist officers resumed today.

Human remains were discovered at Bismark House Mill by demolition workers on Saturday, July 23. There had previously been a huge blaze at the commercial building on Saturday, May 7 and took fire crews four days to extinguish. It was believed no one was inside the mill at the time.
