Selfish resident uses hand fan 'to keep elevator doors open' in China
A selfish resident used her hand fan to block other people from using the elevator for an hour in an apartment in China.
CCTV footage shows the entitled tenant placing her fan between the elevator's doors to keep them from closing in Jinan City, Shandong province on July 20.
As the sole elevator in the building was unavailable, other residents reportedly had to use the stairs instead.
Property staff allegedly failed to notice the obstruction for up to an hours as the bizarre trick was done before their working hours.
It is unclear why the resident was trying to prevent the lift from moving.
