Woman sent flying after collision with speeding bike near toll plaza in northern India
A fast-moving bike was seen colliding with a woman who was trying to cross the road in northern India's Uttarakhand.
The incident took place at Lachhiwala Toll Plaza, Dehradun Rd in Lachhiwala Range on July 26.
Visuals showed a woman coming out of the tool booth trying to cross the road when suddenly a speeding two-wheeler collided with her. She was flung in the air for a few seconds before hitting the ground. People around were seen running toward the victim.
The victim suffered several injuries with three fractures in her right leg. Besides this, she also sustained head injuries. The biker too suffered from minor injuries.
It has been learnt that the biker entered with his vehicle into the lane meant for cars, where the accident occurred.
