A powerful gusty wind toppled over market stall roofs in Thailand.

Footage shows the freak weather blowing away a massive tent that housed roadside shops in Nakhon Ratchasima province on July 26.

Terrified shoppers and vendors were stunned as the makeshift market collapsed. No one was reported hurt but some of the goods were damaged from the incident.

Shopper Teerawat Klaoklang said: ‘We were preparing to leave before it rains but I noticed there was an unusually strong wind. I waited and recorded what would happen. I was shocked when the entire structure collapsed.'

Thailand and other countries in Southeast Asia such as Malaysia, Indonesia and the Philippines are in the middle of their tropical monsoon rainy season, which lasts until October or November.
