Chinese woman claims to find gecko in her drink she ordered online
A woman claimed to have found a gecko in a cup of drink she ordered online in southern China.
Video filmed in the city of Chaozhou in Guangdong Province on July 26 shows a woman finding something in her mouth after drinking the tea from a cup she ordered.
After she used her hand to take the foreign material out, she got scared and threw it away before standing up from the chair.
In another clip, a dead gecko is seen laying on a computer keyboard.
According to reports, the woman ordered a cup of mango pomelo sago, a type of Hong Kong dessert drink, from a shop named Good Me and found a gecko inside.
An employee from the headquarter of Good Me said to Guangdong Television: "We checked the surveillance video of the drink-making process and have not found the source of the gecko. The store has actively communicated with the customer and solved the problem."
The video was provided by local media with permission.
