CCTV camera captures the moment 6.1 magnitude quake hit the town of Tocopilla in Chile

A 6.1 magnitude earthquake struck the region of Antofagasta in Chile in the early hours of Thursday (28/07). The quake struck at 00:15, with the epicentre located 168 km west-northwest of Calama. Tremors were felt throughout the Northern Antofagasta region, as well as Tarapaca. CCTV camera recorded in Tocopilla shows the moment the quake hit, causing a loud noise, shaking vehicles and setting car alarms off. There were no initial reports of damage and injuries.
