"World's Smallest" Cordless Drill and Saw
A cool video has emerged from New Zealand of "the world's smallest drill and circular saw".
The footage, shot earlier this year, shows engineer Lance Abernethy handling the tiny drill and saw which he removes from miniature custom brief cases.
The tools were created using 3D printing.
Abernethy explained that is took him 3 days to make each tool - "two days to design and one for assembling".
"The drill is 17mm high, 7mm wide and 13.4mm long. It holds a 0.5mm twist drill. The saw is 11mm high, 14.5mm wide and 18.3mm long," he later wrote online.
Both tools are powered by hearing aid batteries.
