A Zoo welcomed visitors with a newly opened 3D art zone featuring adorable paintings of zoo animals in Thailand.

Director Wuttichai Muangman launched the project to stimulate tourism in Chiang Mai province in the north of the country.

Officials aid 115 students and volunteers learned 3D painting techniques from artist Sa-ngga Untecha, owner of the '3D-Dua Ngok painting wall' in the city's Saraphi District.

Footage shows images of monkeys, tigers, lions, and other animals lining the wall near the zoo's children's water park.

Zoogoers were also encouraged to take selfies with the paintings and post the photos on social media. Lucky winners will be selected and awarded with round-trip tickets for two seats from Chiang Mai to Bangkok.
