This is the moment a quick-thinking pedestrian showed his gazelle-like reflexes to dodge an out-of-control motorbike crashing into a shopfront.

The local was walking on the sidewalk when the tricycle careened towards him near a shop in Tak province, Thailand, on July 11.

CCTV shows how the vehicle flipped over and continued skidding across the road before slamming into a female motorcycle rider who was parking. Both of them were injured and their rides were also damaged.

The tricycle driver said he was trying to avoid an oncoming pickup truck at the intersection but lost control of the wheel and crashed.

Residents urged motorists to drive more slowly and called for authorities to install warning signs as there were reportedly no traffic lights at the intersection.
