After completing a circumnavigation of the World 10 of 11 sailing yachts that had taken part in the 2019-20 Clipper Round-the-World yacht race arrived back in London at the completion of the adventure.
The race was postponed due to the Covid-19 pandemic which prevented the crews from racing but once the race restarted the teams headed back to London.
The finale to celebrate all the participants and to crown the yacht Qingdao the winner was held in at the Regatta Centre in the Royal Albert Dock which is part of the Royal Group of Docks in the London Borough of Newham.
The yachts are flying their promotional pennants and flags as the come up the Dock and then loop around to head to their moorings whilst the assembled crowds cheer.
