Sophie, from Nuneaton England, was walking her two dogs Freddie, 1 year old frenchie Cross staffy and Reggie 15 week old English Bulldog around her local lake. Freddie is renowned for going for a swim and chasing the geese so Sophie ensures Freddie stays on the lead.
However this one walk, the leads got tangled and Freddie escaped. Lead still attached, no care in the world. He swam back and forth for approximately 25 minutes, refusing to come back in. Eventually with some persuasion from a stick, Freddie did come back and Sophie was quick enough to grab his lead.
Freddie absolutely loves water and would swim all day if he could. Perhaps Sophie needs to work on his Geese chasing recall.. Cheeky boy
