A security camera captured the moment a man caught his younger brother that fell from a balcony in Mallapuram, Kerala.

Footage recorded on July 31 shows Sadiq spraying water up onto the balcony using a hose.

Sadiq's younger brother, Shafiq, is then seen falling down but luckily his brother managed to break his fall by catching him.

"Luckily he caught me otherwise I could have got some serious injuries," Shafik said.

He added: "It turned out to be a funny scene there as everyone laughed after some time but if my brother was not there it could have been a serious incident."

According to younger brother Shafiq who was on the first floor cleaning the balcony area and sunshed , he tells it was Saturday and me and my brother normally do household works on holiday , I was cleaning the sunshed area suddenly I slipped and fell down , my elder brother Sadiq who was giving water from the ground caught me when I fell .

Luckily he caught me otherwise i could have got some serious injuries .
I didn't get any injury due to my brother . Though it turned out to be a funny scene there as everyone laughed out there after some time but if my brother was not there it could be a serious incident
