A weird worm with a hammer-like head and yellow body startled a man in Binh Duong, Vietnam on 25 May.

The man, who filmed the beast, said that he saw a worm moving in the garden. As he approached he was surprised to see it had a hammer-like head and a yellow body.

It was the first time he had seen such a strange worm.

The worm then moved behind the bushes and disappeared.

It is thought it was an example of Bipalium, a genus of large predatory land worms, sometimes called 'hammerhead worms' because of their unique head shape.

They are cannibals and sometimes prey on other worms.
