Steam train makes special excursion for Thai King's 70th Birthday

Version 2: A special steam train excursion leaves Bangkok Hualampong station for Ayutthaya, ancient capital of Siam, on the occasion of King Vajiralongkorn's 70th birthday. The station displays a portrait of King Chulalongkorn who commissioned the first Thai railway, and a portrait of King Vajiralongkorn who became King on 13 October 2016.
The train drivers salute a track maintenance crew. The Japanese locos were made by Nippon Sharyo, 824 in 1949 and 850 in 1950. They make special runs on royal occasions.
