Doctors onboard flight treat passenger who collapsed with high blood pressure
This is the dramatic moment two doctors who were onbard a flight responded to a medical emergency to treat a fellow passenger who collapsed from high blood pressure.
The general practitioners were on Vietravel Airlines flight VU787 heading to Ho Chi Minh City from the Noi Bai International Airport in Hanoi, Vietnam on August 2 when one of the travelers called for help after feeling unwell from a spike in blood pressure.
He suddenly collapsed and cabin crew checked along the aisle for anyone with first aid experience, before the two doctors came forward.
Footage shows the doctors and plane crew gathering around the stricken passenger while checking the patient's condition and administering treatment.
Passenger Phat Nguyen who filmed the incident said: 'Today I flew on a Vietravel Airlines flight from HAN to SGN, but unfortunately, one passenger suffered from high blood pressure. We were flying in bad weather with thunder and lightning too.
'Luckily, the flight attendants and the doctors came to their aid.'
